How Qual8 Works

Qual8 turns range sessions into structured shooting data. Enter chronograph velocity, photograph the fired Sigma8 Calibrated Target, and Qual8 maps the shots against a calibrated reference. It calculates velocity statistics, mean radius, group precision, point of impact, and session history.
Factory ammo shooters can compare products in the same rifle and see which load performs best with real range data. Handloaders can go deeper: Qual8 maps charge weight, seating depth, group precision, and velocity consistency, then uses optimization algorithms to recommend the next tuning step.
Control The Process.
Qual8 is not just a shot-analysis app. Across the 8-bench reloading workflow, it helps document each step, compare measurements against accepted values and tolerances, and keep the process controlled from published load-data limits through final assembled rounds.
Qual8 does not provide or replace published load data from your bullet manufacturer or reloading manual. The shooter is responsible for entering the published minimum and maximum powder charges for the selected bullet and components. The goal is simple: Control The Process → Trust The Shot.
Qualify The System.
Once a load shows promise, Qual8 helps prove it. Load Qualified sessions test the rifle-ammo system from the bench. Hunt Qualified and MQ-600 Match Qualified sessions move beyond the bench to test the full rifle-ammo-shooter system under real pressure.
